Right next to the Doñana Natural Park, this restored wetland is an important stopover and resting place for a wide variety of birds. The project was named 'Misión Posible: Desafío Guadalquivir' and is sponsored by WWF and Coca-Cola. It is a long-term project in an area where the famous movie 'Empire of the Sun' by Steven Spielberg was filmed.

View from the wooden tower over the marshes |
In front of the nearby restaurant there is plenty of place to park. Next to and around the restaurant there is also an area with ducks and herons, but observing this part has been made much more difficult recently because of the fence that was installed.
