About a month after I first spotted some Hoopoes flying to and fro their nesting site well hidden in a palm tree, I decide to go back to take a look how things had evolved. Barely three minutes after I arrived, I spotted the first Hoopoe on the ground, in search of insects.

Soon arrived the second bird, but that was not all! There were four birds in total. It was unclear to me what their relationship was. There were no territorial disputes, so they were likely to be family.
These two birds arrived a little bit later |
I spotted one bird hanging on the tree near the entrance of the nest feeding another bird.
Then also one bird went into the nest with a bug in its beak, but to my surprise it came out seconds later, still holding the insect.
