BOOK REVIEW: Kingfisher

I decided to buy this book to learn more about this beautiful species, after reading the other book by the same author, David Chandler, part of the RSPB Spotlight series. Much to my disappointment, both books are almost identical. The only difference is the size. This one is much larger and therefore more recommended.

If you want to know more about these wonderful birds, both books are good options. but you surely don't want to purchase both, as I did. If you already own more books in the RSPB Spotlight collection, you may want to stick to that one. However, if you just want to add a good book about Kingfishers to your library, than choose the larger book of which you see the cover here.

The chapters come in a slightly different order, compared to the other book, but texts and photos are almost identical. And of excellent quality, without any doubt.

What I liked about it:

+  In-depth look at all aspects of a Kingfisher's life
+  Beautiful photography
Nice format
